The initial reason for starting this site back in 2003 was to provide interactive forms for ASME and NBIC Certificate holders. Many of the smaller shops could not afford the resources of having professional word processors on staff to prepare the forms let alone go out and search for providers that offered custom forms. The price for these forms from some providers, in my opinion were ridiculously high. Many did not provide adequate support for their product once the sale was made and some even stopped providing the service altogether. There are currently many options available for Certificate holders to find forms however I will still provide my forms for those that would like the alternative. The forms that I am providing are in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word formats. If you choose to tailor the form to your own tastes (use as a template) you are free to do this because even though the forms (documents) are protected, there is not any password required to unprotect the forms(documents). So enjoy!
Present
In the beginning the site was fairly simple and still remains a hobby of mine. It has expanded recently into a collection of links for "hard to find". "difficult to locate" ASME and National Board articles, documents, files, etc.... I am adding interesting items as soon as I am able and it has grown over the years. The site is now hosting the Authorized Inspector Forums exclusive to only Authorized Inspectors. Many others have asked to become members but I have resisted these requests. It is the only place where AI's can come and belong in my opinion regardless of affiliations with agencies or jurisdictions.

I am open to anything and everything. Your suggestions and comments are what fuels the fire here at AuthorizedInspector.com If you make the request, I will do my best to provide it for you.
